Policy Platform: Feedback from the Building Blocks Conference was used to create this more succinct policy platform to guide the work of the Building Blocks Project.
Statement of Food Policy Principles: Working document of UFCW 1500's outline for New York City food policy. At the Building Blocks Conference in July, over 70 New York City organizations gave feedback on the principles, a working draft written with the intent of starting a conversation on New York City food policy.
See who endorsed the principles: Dozens of elected officials in New York City and New York State have endorsed the principles, as well as many community groups and individuals.
Food Policy Map: Building Blocks is partnering with the Brooklyn Borough President's Office and the Parsons Institute for Information Mapping at New School University in order to create a network-building software tool. This geographic map shows just a fraction of the many community groups involved in the Building Blocks Project and other food, job, and health partnerships.
